Growing up in Central Pa. amidst vast rolling farmlands, my days were filled with making and creating anything that intrigued me... when I wasn't riding a horse. Although my early years were spent with horses, in any spare moment, I was drawing and painting which led to a degree in Communication Design from Kutztown University. I never imagined then that a single editorial design class would jump start my career. From the weekly construction magazine, ENR, at McGraw-Hill in NYC to my current position as Creative Director at Messiah University, editorial layout has carried through the wide variety of design work I've created.
As an award-winning designer with 20+ years experience, I have a knack for visual storytelling and design strategy. Design strengthens the communication of ideas and I work with clients to tell their story in a compelling, innovative way. With a diverse design portfolio of magazines, branded marketing materials, logos, advertising, social media and event collateral, my experience stretches cross-platform between print and digital. As a team leader and a collaborative team-player, I'm also pretty adept at brand and project management these days and I look for strategic ways to make branding accessible and processes efficient.
